Tracks::GTD who's using it?
wwalker | Jan 24 2006
I came to read this forum to get ideas before starting a Ruby on Rails (a web development system) project to do 43 folders. I found in nearly the last post I read a reference to Tracks::GTD (http://www.rousette.org.uk/projects/). Being a Ruby on Rails app, you can just install Ruby, then Rails on your computer (Windows, Linux, OSX...) and in a few minutes have Tracks running. It looks good to me so far. Who else is using it? any comments or pointers? Wayne 46 Comments

I've been using tracks for a while now, got it hosted on my own server using Apache and MySQL. I have a few issues with it, there seems to be no easy way to keep a someday/maybe list as the item times out and becomes bright yellow. As for "offline" access, i use the TXT feed to get a basic dump of my items which i can then put in my moleskine. While it doesnt print out the extended details i'm sure it can be hacked to do this :) » POSTED IN:
