GTD in biglaw?
patrick | Apr 7 2006
I'm a 3rd year law student who just read GTD. I will be starting work in the litigation group of a 600-lawyer law firm that has a 2000/year billable-hour requirement. I'm wondering if there are any lawyers on this forum who have incorporated GTD into their practice, and how they set it up. I know we have Outlook and will be getting Blackberry/Treo devices, so I may as well use those tools. What has worked? Does being more efficient have the perverse effect of lowering your billable hours? 3 Comments

I'm a CPA, so am interested in some of the same issues. If you go to this website and look for Chakwin's posts-- http://www.transformingpractices.com/gc/gcpc3.html A System for Sanity - Part I and Part II -goes into the ways GTD helps in law and how he implements it. I saved it on my hard drive because it was so detailed and helpful. On the sidebar at the above links I see the links still up. » POSTED IN:
