Gentle alarm clock?

Hello. I'm looking for a gentle alarm clock, one that will wake me slowly. Right now my wife & I are in the bad equilbrium of 'snoozing' for about an hour every morning. Hour of snooze is the worst of both worlds. I'd rather replace that with a machine that gets slowly louder & brighter.

Here's one from Hammacher & Schlemmer for $50.
