Some mail stuck on Gmail
farser | May 29 2007
Hi, I've come across this problem both on a Mac (using Mail.app) and on Windows using Outlook. When using POP with Gmail, some mail gets stuck in my Gmail inbox and won't download to my client. This happens whether the message is read or unread - doesn't matter. I can force it to download by going to the Gmail POP/Forwarding settings and selecting "Enable POP for all mail (even mail that's already been downloaded)". This then sends all mail down the pipe again but causes problems with duplicates being created on the client - I have a lot of mail. Anyone? Thanks. POSTED IN:
