Mac OS tools for contract work?
istevens | Feb 23 2007
I just recently started a contract job where I get paid an hourly rate (which will change within a month), can collect tax to be paid to the government later and can expense items against that collected tax. As such, I need to keep track of hours worked on certain tasks, amounts billed, amounts paid, taxes paid and expenses. I've seen the lineup of time tracking and financial tracking apps for the Mac and haven't find any which look appealing. What are you using and do you find that app useful? Currently a spreadsheet on Google Docs looks like the easiest way out. BTW, I don't use my Mac for my contract work, but instead make use of an in-house Windows machine. As a result, anything which requires me to enter times or whose features center around using the app as you work would be frustrating. thanks, POSTED IN:
