Before I ask the question I have to explain wher it comes from...

A friend of mine and I were discussing movies today and how badly they get butchered when shown on most channels (censored, dubbed over, parts cut, etc), and in the midst of the conversation the Kill Bill movies came up. My friend tells me that his sister -- who lives in Australia -- said that there was a lot of Aussie humor and Aussie jokes hidden within the movies, and her husband (Australian) thinks the movies are two of the funniest he's ever seen.

Now, after that setup, here's my question --

Was his sister right? Are there Aussie jokes hidden in the movies? (And if so, where?) Or has she been down under too long?
