iTunes library on Powerbook and Powermac
Jamie Phelps | Feb 28 2006
Let's see if I can state this cogently. I use my Powerbook exponentially more than I use my Powermac (G4 Sawtooth 400MHz 640MB RAM). The Powermac is basically a music jukebox for my office. When I am in there, I turn on the tunes and visualizer and try to get actual work done on my Powerbook. Anyway... The problem is like this: I do almost all of my downloading and video conversion on my Powerbook. A while back I shuttled off a bunch of music that I know I won't listen to but want to keep around to my Powermac so it wasn't taking up space on my Powerbook and iPod. What I would like to do is use my Powermac for syncing my iPod because it has a 50% larger hard drive and fewer apps and such clogging up the hard drive, but I still want to have tunes and shows on my Powerbook available for listening when I forget the iPod or something. But, I also need to get the new stuff from the Powerbook to the Powermac in order to sync to iPod for this to work. Anyone have experience with this kind of thing? 2 Comments
